Delete your ConvertAudioToText account

You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from the Catt app on iPhone or Android or from the web dashboard. Both do the same thing.

In the Catt app

  1. Open the Catt app and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile picture at the top of the home screen, then Account.
  3. Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
  4. Tap Delete to confirm.

On the web

  1. Sign in at convertaudiototext.com and open Settings.
  2. Open the Security tab.
  3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete account, then Delete my account.

What happens next

  • Your account switches off straight away and you are signed out.
  • Sign in again within 30 days and the account comes back as it was.
  • After 30 days your transcripts, uploaded media, API keys and workspaces are deleted for good, and we cannot bring them back.
  • If you have a subscription, deleting the account cancels it first so it does not renew. If it cannot be cancelled, the account is not deleted.

Can't use the app or the dashboard?

Email privacy@convertaudiototext.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply once it is done.
