Make Flashcards from Audio and Video Lectures

Upload a lecture or class video and study it as flashcards

Upload a lecture recording or video and we transcribe it first. From the transcript, the study kit builds up to 12 flashcards, plus a quiz and a study guide, all based only on what was said. The study kit works on the first file of a free account and with the Student Pass.

Flashcards from a lecture: how it works

Everything in one study kit

Flashcards, a quiz and a study guide come from the same study kit, built from your transcript in one step.

  • A study guide with headings, bullet points and the key terms in bold
  • Up to 12 flashcards
  • Up to 8 multiple-choice quiz questions, each with 4 options and an explanation
  • Up to 8 question and answer pairs
  • Up to 8 key quotes, copied word for word from the recording

You choose the difficulty (easy, medium or hard), how many of each item you want, and an optional topic to focus on.

What is free and what needs a pass

  • Without an account you get a 30-minute transcript preview. The study kit needs a free account.
  • On a free account, the study kit works on your first file, which can run up to 60 minutes.
  • After that, the Student Pass unlocks it for students with a university or college email: $4.99 for 30 days with 30 hours of transcription, or $19 for 120 days with 100 hours. One payment, no renewal.
  • Any paid plan unlocks the study kit too.
