- Standard Estonian
- Tallinn speech
- Southern Estonian accents
One Estonian setting covers these speakers. Võro and Seto are not separate options.
How Estonian transcripts are written
Transcripts use Estonian spelling with õ, ä, ö and ü.
In our test on read sentences, the transcript kept õ and ä in words such as mõjutav and täis, and long compound words were written as one word. Small errors were mostly at word joins inside compounds.
What people transcribe in Estonian
Interviews and research
Estonian interviews come back with speaker labels, ready for coding or quoting.
Meetings
Work meetings become minutes with a summary in Estonian.
Video subtitles
Export SRT for Estonian videos and translate them to English or Finnish.
Tip for Estonian recordings
Estonian compounds are long. Read compound words carefully when you review; a missing joint is the most common small fix.
